The Solution
This property wasn’t providing our clients’ growing family with the space they needed for a comfortable and easy lifestyle.
Working with the client, we designed a solution to take this four-bedroom and one-bathroom house and turn it into a stunning five-bedroom and three-bathroom home.
A full-width ground floor extension and loft conversion, alongside a full house refurbishment, saw this home totally transformed.
The main hub of the house is the ground floor, where the family spend the most time. So we created a large free-flowing open-plan kitchen, dining and living area designed for quality family living.
To make the most of this space, we wanted to maximise the use of natural light. We achieved this by creating a contemporary wall of glass across the entire ground floor width. Our design also introduced a stunning large glazed box window to frame the much-loved beautiful mature tree outside.
The result is a spacious and contemporary home designed for this family to enjoy living, entertaining and creating treasured memories.
