The Solution
We were asked to convert this large downstairs area into a design that created a better layout for the family, providing more usable space and a more efficient flow of the property.
Our solution involved removing the existing side storage and replacing it with a narrow side extension. This immediately opened up the space and allowed us to design a new layout that creates a clever combination of open plan and private spaces perfect for family life.
The result provides the family with living, dining and kitchen zones that are uniquely designed around how they use the space and spend quality time. We were also able to add a downstairs toilet and shower room, as well as provide practical storage space for bikes.
The interior design uses stylish decor to set the mood of each space to provide clearly defined areas. While the elegant and contemporary finish complements the character of the original house, creating a home designed to be appreciated and enjoyed.
