The Wishlist
The brief was to maximise unused space by creating practical, well-integrated areas including a ground floor WC, cloakroom, and utility, all discreetly positioned to reduce clutter. A key priority was a spacious open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area to serve as the heart of the home, suitable for both family life and entertaining. Strengthening the connection to the garden through large glazing and slimline sliding doors was also essential.

The Solution
Taking full advantage of an area of dead space at the side of the property allowed us to create practical spaces for a ground floor WC, Cloak room and utility all of which are tucked away allowing the owners to enjoy the rest of the house with minimal clutter.
The Results
This clever use of space, enabled us to design a spacious open plan kitchen/dining/ living area which would become the heart of the home; a place where all the family could spend time together and somewhere which was large enough to entertain guests. We also created a strong relationship with the landscaped garden using a large fixed window and slim line sliding doors.
